Hello Surfer, My name is Paul Tucker, Musician and Music Teacher, and welcome to negrilmusic.com. The purpose of this site is TWOFOLD:
(1) To share music theory information with the people who are interested and this includes the many who are involved with singing and ESPECIALLY those who have to use a music score on a regular basis but are not sure about anything on the pages except the words they are singing. Hopefully the information posted will help us to understand the ups and downs the voice goes through as each measure of music is performed. Also this information is for the people who intend to sit theory exams and musicians who want to know more about reading Chords & Melody. All this information will be posted on the Music Theory Highway and hopefully I will hear from you periodically as you get involved and work the exercises posted. YES! we will go from the very beginning. So, if you were thinking about getting involved with this kind of activity, but never got started NOW is the time....
(2) Some eight years ago I developed a passion for Computer Based recordings and after getting to fully understand the MIDI system these computer based recordings started in earnest. Some of these recordings with info on the artistes are posted on this site. Hopefully you will enjoy the clips presented and go on to purchase some or all of these songs. All the music and singing you will hear was recorded using a microphone, keyboard and computer software. I hope you are not among those who are opposed to the rapid change taking place in the recording industry as in just about every other sphere of human activity. Listen with a Catholic Mind and it is my hope that you will enjoy what you hear.....Anyway, thanks for stopping by and as time goes by, you will hear more from and about me, and the people I've recorded....more anon
