                         Lecturer

                Picture

"Lecturer Denzy” (Hugh Cameron) was born at Green Island in the Parish of Hanover, Jamaica.

From his early days at school he was always engaged in entertainment activities and was always called upon to perform at concerts and singing contests at school and in the wider community. He actually won many of these contests and this gave him a vision of what he would someday do for a living.

After “School Days” Lecturer entered the construction industry and spent many years there learning the essentials of the industry before he found the courage to walk away from it and start his career as a professional Singer/DJ. While in the construction industry he found time to perform as singer and D/J with many different Sound Systems and Bands including ZAP POW and MICRO CHIP among others. Lecturer’s songs are all original and they speak about life as it affects him and the world at large. He sees a song in every situation and is always ready to turn his experiences and observations into a song.

After listening to his songs, you will agree that this man has a song for just about every situation in which one may find himself or herself and he is indeed able to “lecture” on the things confronting us in our daily walk through this journey called life….

If you listen keenly, if you listen without bias, you most certainly will hear a “lecture”, (a telling) you need to hear in every song….
